Participants in the Sixth World Beard and Moustache Championships in Carson City wait for the results after they paraded on the catwalk in front of the judges and the public. More than 130 men with facial hair of all styles came from as many as 10 different countries to participate in the 17-category event, hoping to win the coveted title of World Champion. This was the first time the 13-year-old contest had been held outside of Europe.
